The Charlottesville Social Media Community

The Charlottesville Social Media community is a vibrant group of people that are actively engaged online using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms to connect and grow their business.

We’ve been on these platforms since 2006 and have a great deal of experience helping businesses in Charlottesville reach new customers through this important channel.  Our best estimate is that there are approximately 50,000 Charlottesville residents on Facebook and roughly 7,000 Charlottesville residents on Twitter.  The exact numbers are tough to nail down but you get a flavor the potential reach with the right strategy.

In addition to meeting online, many of us also get together offline and live social events.  There is the Charlottesville Social Media Club, Tweetups, and BeCamp just to name a few.  The opportunities are great for someone looking to expand their local network.
